Students' events from January to May 2012

JANUARY

On Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10 o'clock at Võru Kreutzwald Gymnasium the annual 6th Formers' Puzzle Quiz.

3-membered teams need to be registered by January 23, 2012. Teachers, please send the number of teams and names of team members to Maive via email  maive.salakka@gmail.com.


FEBRUARY

On Thursday, February 16, 2012  at 1 o'clock p.m. the annual Secondary School Students' Speech Contest at Võru Kreutzwald Gymnasium's Mirror Hall.

Like last year, there is going to be more than one topic to choose from. The speech has to be between 3-5 minutes long. Please register the contestants by February 13 by emailing the name/s of your student/s to Maive at maive.salakka@gmail.com.


MARCH

On Saturday, March 10, 2012  at 10 o'clock first ever 9th Form Board Games Competition at Võru Kreutzwald Gymnasium.

The topic of the board games is Estonia. The board game creators are expected to give a short presentation of their game which will be followed by game sessions to see which games are the best and most fun to play. Teachers, please register the teams and presenters by March 7 by sending an email to Maive at maive.salakka@gmail.com.


APRIL


On Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10 o'clock takes place the second ever Crossword Solving Competition for Form 7 Students at Võru Kreutzwald Gymnasium.

Like last year, we expect 2-membered teams. The students can use dictionaries (English -English, English - Estonian, Estonian - English). Teachers, please register your participants by April 11 by emailing Maive the number and full names of your students at maive.salakka@gmail.com.
