Like last year, the speech had to be 3-5 minutes long and there was more than one topic to choose from tomake the contest more varied.
This year's topics were:

This year, there were 22 participants from 5 different schools (Võru Kreutzwald Gymnasium, Varstu Gymnasium, Antsla Gymnasium, Parksepa Secondary School and Vastseliina Gymnasium).
The students were graded by Merle Paat, Merle Mändmets, , Merit Kokk, Maila Vilu, Eve Unt, Maive Salakka and Helen Parker (University of Tartu).

(Vastseliina Gymnasium form 11, teacher: Jelizaveta Gubenko, with 88.5 points)

(Antsla Gymnasium form 10, teacher: Merle Paat, with 86 points)
