November is foreign languages' month in VKG - secondary school team quiz (23 November 2011)
The second foreign languages team quiz for secondary school, which was held on 23 November 2011, was even more popular than the one held the year before. This time, there were 23 five-membered teams (advisably made up of students who study different languages) who tested their language skills and demonstrated their knowledge of the cultures and countries where the aforementioned languages are spoken.
The questions were asked orally in 5 different foreign languages - English, Russian, German, Finnish and French, which can be studied in our school. For each language it was possible to get 10 points, altogether 50 points maximum.
The best of the best were:
Form 10
II team Keeltejumalad 10d
(Diana Hinn, Merli Ilves, Helen Urmann, Krisette Kolling, Kristel Kallas)
Congratulations! The best teams will also be awarded with a diploma at the festive assembly on 22 December.
Thank you all for participation. We hope you enjoyed the challenge and found out something new and interesting. See you all next year!
The Foreign Languages Chair of VKG would also like to thank all the language teachers who helped to prepare the questions, carry out the quiz and count the scores.
Here are some highlights of the event. Enjoy!
